Remember Poem by Martin McIntosh

Remember

Rating: 5.0

Remember those day?
Whitout a care?
When you longed to wrestle a bear?
As you watched the sheep grze

How those days are missed
I mess when we went fishing
Dowqn by the train track
For tadpoles, hoping they'd grow into frogs

The day's we'd play till after sundown
Parents would never frown
We'd go through trousers
Like a dog eats it's dinner

Now we live a different lifestyle
One with responsibilities and regrets
All our memories stayed in our head
Locked away in a safe called
'Yesterday'

Only to be opened by a spoken key,
This key is an eight letter word
The word is

Remember
