Remember Me Poem by Georgia Leana Benedictos

Remember Me

</>Remember me, not as the girl you used to see
For I have grown into a lady.
Remember me, not as the girl that used to be jolly
For I have grown into a life full of misery.

Remember me, some other time, I am happy.
Today I ran out of jolly.
Remember me, but I seem to break.
Today my heart will totally ruin me for my sake.

Remember me, again, as the girl you used to see
For I like to be that kid again.
Remember me, again, as the girl that used to be jolly
For I have a smile to get rid of this misery.

Remember me, not some other time but today
I shall not sing a song full of woe.
Remember me, I am not about to break
I shall now enter the world I used to take.

Remember me again, remember me.
I am the blithe of my existence.
I do not forsake anything but wishes.
Goodbye, I say for it is the end of the day.
