Remembering Your Friend Poem by RIC BASTASA

Remembering Your Friend

You still keep the yellow crumpled paper
With a note “I love you too”

She calls you
To see her tonight she promises you a kiss in the campus dance

For this valentine’s celebration
the music is so mellow you feel like a marshmallow

then she finally kisses you
your best friend winks and kisses her girlfriend too.
