Remembrance Poem by Leon Moon

Remembrance

He would regale me in tails of his greed

"If your head was on another body
You would find it ugly"

"They pluck the wings off angels
Laugh as they bleed and then
Erect airports in their name"

"Neitszche's dead god was a symbol
Of his desperation to escape eternity"

etc. etc.

I would be the only one left awake at dawn,
We had that in common at least.
