We Remember
We pause today in solemn thought,
For lives so cruelly lost and caught
In hatred's grip, in fear's dark tide,
Where millions suffered, lived, and died.
We speak their names, we hold them near,
Though history is heavy here.
Their dreams were stolen, voices stilled,
By prejudice and hate fulfilled.
We honour those who lived through pain,
Who bore the loss, yet still remained,
And those who chose the braver way
To help, to stand, to not look away.
By looking back, we learn to see
What silence costs humanity.
We vow to challenge lies and fear,
Wherever seeds of hate appear.
For memory is more than grief—
It is our strength, our shared belief:
To guard all lives, to choose what's right,
And stand for justice, truth, and light.
