Remembrance Day 11/11



Take me o'er the sea, to where the poppies grow,
They are the guarding sentinels, row on row,
Saluting, in their crimson jackets, they stand,
As if they are mourning the fallen, hand in hand.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
By all means, take this poem as a whole,
But if you miss out alternate phrases in commas, you shall reach the soul.
If one reads the part preceding the comma first of all,
May they be transported back to the time of 'the Great War',
And then to read, having read every other phrase, about the memory,
The second part then shall be witness to the story,
Of what is now left, after the carnage,
Here is a poem that shall never age,
