Rememories Poem by Can I Live?

Rememories

Through the doors solid and
plain, under the mistle toe dry
and crumbling hung long ago.
Stumble over dusty carcass
not all human, bones dissolve
under intrusive imaginary foot
steps as though… They had been
motionless for years. Pots
and pans rusted ingredients
ready for use. Along a corridor
weary-eyed into a room no longer
occupied. Paintings on the wall posters
on the ceiling and as odd as it
may seem curtains
filled with dust, carpets reek of mold.
filled with secrets and stories of old.
