Remind Me Of Calvary Poem by George Samuel

Remind Me Of Calvary

Make this path anew,
Where strangers turn in few,
And come home with me,
Hear my crossword plea,
Till I gain this candle light of thee.

Be thou the light I bear,
The song I sing, make me hear,
Aloud the achos of triumph,
When so suddenly the worldly hour jumps,
Redeem me when the tempter is up.

That makes me bleed,
And sow in my heart a doubtful seed,
To renounce my salvation, though it was free,
Bought with blood, shared on a tree,
Where my saviour died for me.

Remind me of calvary,
When my heart is lured into sinful slavery,
The milk and honey that decay,
Let thy word become my say,
And carry thy cross till I'm gray.
