Reminded Of You Poem by Delia Anna

Reminded Of You

Rating: 5.0

Tears are matching the cold rain
As I realize how much the drops on my skin
Remind me of how it felt to receive marks on my skin where your hands touched
Never staying long but so powerful in the very moment
And maybe I like the rain so much because it reminds me of you
And now that you're gone forever
There really isn't much to hold on to
All I ever want is the rain to come back, to gently stay longer and to touch me again
And all I ever do is wait too long, pathetically never give up and never realize how I can't control the weather
It decides itself when it wants to touch me again
Just like you did
It comes and goes and it never really matters if I do need it or not right now
Because the weather never cares
Just like you never did
