Reminiscing Poem by Gerry Legister

Reminiscing

Reminiscing about the stress
With tears on my cheeks
Raw feelings trace what I miss
mostly hell, feeling the regrets

But I am at home now
Before my sentence is done
Reminiscing about the sorrow
And the better world to come

I couldn't dream life would be
A better destiny prepared for me
Until I went into God's sanctuary
And found peace and security

On Earth, we no longer can stay
But I will come back someday.
