painting, white washes, walls
and lies, laughter and snores
that went before,
but can not wipe away feelings
tensions faults that scenes betray,
the words of confidence
dreams of hope
and consequence,
and dreams of fear
forebode no nonsense of the mind
dreams in technicolor
rainbows of covenants
singing and dancing to the
beats of drums and pulses
gift wrapped in pleasure
