Renaissance Poem by Terri A

Renaissance

Young and innocent we were.

What we had,

we couldn't put into words.

The way he made me feel,

so light,

so free.

Those days are now memories.

Though many years have passed,

one look at you,

my heart sets ablaze.

Kindled flames that can't be erased.

It's not like before.

This passion that burns.

To sum it up,

four words.

You are my renaissance.
