Rendezvous Poem by Maddy Jones

Rendezvous

Rendezvous

Bathe with me,
In the sea of stars,
Shimmering beauty,
It would be ours,

Meet me there,
In our beautiful place,
I lovingly dare,
So I may see your face,

We'd dance in our dream,
A waltz on a cloud,
The moon is a beam,
The nighttime a shroud,

My hand in yours,
Our eyes in a gaze,
Your heart, mine adores,
And in mine, it stays,

Our memories amidst,
How brightly they shine,
But so very missed,
Never real, but still mine,

Our rendezvous dreams,
Will forever go on,
Another world that gleams,
From the heart, never gone.
