Replaced Poem by Unintelligible Susurration

Replaced

I called you
for the fiftieth time tonight.
I'd really like someone to talk to
about what has been keeping me
down in the dumps
instead of up in the treasures
with thoughts of the wonderful dinner
we are to have.

I grabbed my bike
iridesently thinking
I was too delusional and paranoid
to be thinking you were
with someone else.

I arrived at your house -
so calm and still it seemed
with the porch light on
glowing almost neon blue
against the black starless night.

And then I saw the window
with an orange light
coming from between
the concealing shutters.

I curiously glimpsed inside,
hoping to seek you
preparing for our date,
only I found you laughing
and having a grand old time
with my best friend.

That is how I concluded
you had moved on
and already replaced me
with someone who I knew
would give you a taste
of your own medicine.
