Replaced By You Poem by Katherine Bryce

Replaced By You

Who are you,
I miss you,
not this new you,
the you I knew.

The you I knew was,
kind sweet and caring,
this new you,
lacks the heart you had.

What happened to you,
what happened to the man,
that a long time ago,
I actually knew?

You've changed so much,
I wish you hadn't,
I wish you could go back,
to who you once were.

But I know now,
that the man I once new,
is gone and has been,
replaced by you.
