Request - Poem by Sally Plumb Plumb

Take me slowly
with kisses
and feeling, darlin'.
With the sweat
on your brow
in the long, deep grass.

With the sun
in your mind
and a burning thought
of summer love
that's newly wrought.

And take me to light
when my mind is dark
as the evening clouding
with the blanket of night...
and the shadowy owl cries
on the cusp of my sighs...

I will wait for you when?
