You found me somewhere between a rock and a hard place
I was shivering in fear
You read the terror on my face
You gave me your hand and told me to hold on
You rescued me from that plight
When I was weak, you were strong
I couldn’t have prayed for more
You are my blessing
A person in my life I truly adore
Now I contemplate how I can repay you
Your strength leaves no opportunity for me to save you
I am forced to find another way to
In word and in deed
I promise to be
What I can when you need what you need
