Resolutions Poem by Beautifully Unknown

So whats the point of making a 'new years resolution' anyway? ?
You're just going to break it
I know I always do
But then, why do people make a 'promise' they know they're going to break.
Its just like you don't really even care that you let yourself down
So why make one? ? ?
Why even waste your time and energy on thinking one up? ? ?
I know that lettting yourself down is WAY different
Than when it comes to letting someone else down
But why do either of those things?
You see I look at all these people every year...
They make the same resolution they did before
Because they couldn't keep it
Its like making a promise to a little kid and then breaking it
You see that sad depressed look on their sweet little face
And then you honestly feel worse about it than you did before
So to all of you out there that do make resolutions....
