Rest In The Void Poem by Manasseh Katukula

Rest In The Void

Sweet dreams
Nightmare screams
To one's soul
Life is pain
Death is relief
Dreams ignite a flame
Flames fueled by hope
Now watch as this child of the earth and sky
Burns to ashes by that which kept it alive
You should have embraced the abiss little one but instead sought for light and in the end
All it brought you was tragedy and suffering
Now rest little one for the darkness was the heroines you should have sought out for, she only wished to take away the pain.
Now you can finally rest for today and forevermore.
Forever resting in peace.
