The Lonely Child Poem by Manasseh Katukula

The Lonely Child

Lonely child
Lonely child
Lonely child
Let your imagination go wild
Lonely child
Lonely child
Try to make them proud
Because when proud they give attention They show you love
Things your soul craves to have
Lonely child
Lonely child
Can't remember when you smiled
Countless days you have cried
Do be strong you have tried
Your tears long dried
Promised to be by your side
They lied
Left your happiness behind
Your smile long died
A new meaning to life you try to find
Your sorrow you hide
Deep in you forever confined
Lonely Child
Lonely Child.
