Restless Dreams - Poem by Wilma R. Cole
Fogged in is the Metropolitan Dream
Lost in man's blind vision
To build a city.
Peace escapes the city
As it floats unknowingly
Like a demon of madness-
Always for want of rest,
Disturbed as the uncertain night.
Values, virtues, vices...a wilderness
Of man's making
Mirrored in the conscience of man.
