Resurrection Poem by johnathan foster

Resurrection

He walks alone through the forsaken valley of fate
All is gone and too late
He's done his time here on Earth
For sin and greed have taken place since birth
Before man coexisted and time began
For the father of the universe has a form of a mortal man
His disciples have died for our sins
Now he must walk to face the demons
He is nailed to a wooden cross
He is starved and left for dead
With a crown of thorns on his head
After days of suffering he has finally died
And has crossed over to the other side
As they place his corpse in his rocky sepulcher…
