I lay in a shallow grave
Enveloped in darkness
It’s life I crave
Penetrating through its grains
The warmth of the sun
Tantalizes me from above
Caressing my flesh with love
Stimulating my insides
To the depths of my soul
Thrusting with pleasure
No longer in the darkness will I hide
My grotesque body maturing
Contorting itself above the grave
Its shadow alluring
New life stirs
Struggling to let a scarlet beauty emerge
A wild yet star like
Delicate wild rose
Lovely and fragrant
An exquisite sight
The Sun ripening my heart
Birthing a voluptuous scarlet fruit
Ah, the life I yearned for from the start
Rich, sweet, succulent, wine like juices
Wait in a polished robe of red
To be devoured as one so chooses
Beauty now thrown aside
Returning to its shallow grave
With nothing but life to crave
