Reunion Poem by Matt Mooney

Reunion

So clear the crystal pool beneath the leaves,
Showing how they've bloomed and changed;
They're just girl friends at school once more,
Conversing as if they had never gone away.

So cool the crystal pool beneath the leaves,
And sweet to bare their feet and dip them in;
To see themselves in the mirror of old times,
Musing side by side on an overhanging tree.
