Reunion And Change



I saw you again,
but the feeling's gone.
He was on your mind,
Darn has it been long.
I almost said hello,
but you just walked away.
Now next time I see you,
I'll know exactly what to say.
'Remember that show?
Yeah those awful bands.
Some good times we had,
Content holding hands.
But the good times have left
On the same boat as desire.
And all my hopes for us
Burned up in that fire.'
It sounds fine to me
I don't know how you'll reply.
You could shrug 'It Happens'
Or you could break down and cry.
I have watched you change bad,
and I've watched you change good,
I closed my eyes for a second,
Right in front of me you stood.
You gave me a hug,
But it could not have been you.
You've changed way too much.
Apparently I have too...
