Revelation Poem by Akara K.

Revelation

Rating: 2.8

The atmosphere has changed
I think there's something going on
I can sense it in the air
And it chills me to the bone
Things are changing soon
For the worse or for the best
Shadows whisper in my ears
As my heart pounds against my chest
The moon and stars are all aligned
A breath of wind rushes by
The Earth starts spinning faster
And the trees begin to sigh
Calling out my name
Moaning, groaning, screaming, crying
The Earth spins faster, faster still
While everything is dying
Colors blur and then they fade
The wind starts getting stronger
All of this has got to end
The Earth won't hold much longer
Seeing things from a different view
It's a whole new generation
The world is suddenly flying by
Get ready for a revelation
Everything is different now
The days turns into night
I cry out to the broken sky
As I long for the light
