Reversal Poem by Thunderstorm Lullaby

Reversal

You have me
Crying on my knees
Your not deaf, but
You cant hear my pleas
But the biggest punch in my face,
The biggest insult
Is that you refuse to remember,
What caused this result

It was you
Who told me I was good as dead
It was you
Who caused this flow of red
It was you
Who swore I was a disgrace
But it’ll be ME
Who’s going to win this race

Life is tough
And I can handle that
But I can never forgive
All the times that you spat
In my face
And then leave no trace
Of any wrong doing
But my revenge,
I’m slowly brewing

It was you
Who told me I was good as dead
It was you
Who caused this flow of red
It was you
Who swore I was a disgrace
But it’ll be ME
Who’s going to win this race

This isn’t how I wanted it to be
But you leave me no choice
because now I see
as long as you’re here
I’ll be living in fear
So now it’s my turn
At your dream’s to snear

It was you
Who told me I was good as dead
It was you
Who caused this flow of red
It was you
Who swore I was a disgrace
But it’ll be ME
Who’s going to win this race
