Oh God, you know all too well I love you
I need to find the time; I need to refine my pride
Our feet are shaking, our tongues are tied
With you, I am open, I have nothing to hide
Our fates are tied; we take each step in stride
Get a little closer to me, so I can let you see
The resilient beauty you have that sets me free
When we are here, we are nothing but happy
When I am with you, we can achieve anything
I know you can too, so what are we waiting for?
I am following right behind you
I would be wrong to say that I’ve had enough
I hope by your smile, that they will never steal this love
We can wait all we want there is no need to rush…
Where did you go? I know that you’re not here
