Revolution Of The American Tradition Poem by George otto Becker

Revolution Of The American Tradition

Upon the lands in which our forefathers bled,
A nation was stolen by those with money instead.
All of the rights that were achieved in battle against a financial Monarchy,
Led to a nation stripped of true democracy.
A new regime of taxation would occur,
The same that represent our country for sure.
It is a shame we worked so hard,
To be given over to the new slum lord.
Taking away every dollar,
And making us pay for things because they are in power.
Amazing are we that work for so little,
With the inflation they put us under middle.
What will happen when there is nothing left to take and the slum lords must fight each other.
