I believe that there’s a place Somewhere just out of reach Maybe in my near future Could be around the next corner Where the darkness will recede Where I will not need the shadows To hide myself from public view Where I will no longer be afraid It will never feel so cold again I will bask in sunlight Knowing that I’ve arrived That this is my reward For battling without surrenderI will feel the warmth in meThawing out the inner soulI will smile without thought I will reach out to all thereThe other survivors And the ones that I love I have to believe in a placeI need to know deep insideThat it does exist Outside my hopes And that one day I will find And you will be there
