Rhyme Is The Remedy Poem by Rodney Dufault

Rhyme Is The Remedy

If time is the enemy
then rhyme is the remedy;
Every line has the energy
to shine, but don't censor me.
My design is expertly
unrefined, yet exemplary.
One of a kind for the century
I left behind in my memory.
If time is the enemy
then rhyme is the remedy;
Each of mine about every
real sign that I ever see.
Not to undermine destiny;
But I decline what's meant to be.
Let my mind go venture free;
Continue to climb 'til I'm elderly.
