A total stranger across the ward
Became my guardian angel
Even while he battled his illness
He found time to watch over me

He was there for me to help me
When no nurses were on the ward
He was first to press response alarm
To get emergency service I needed

Each attack was a serious situation
Without him could have been fatal
I personally would like to thank him
And hope I would have done the same

So thank you Richard from my heart
I pray your illness will soon be healed
