Riding The Horizon Poem by Gianfranco Aurilio

Riding The Horizon

I asked the horizon
what freedom is
and he answered
that to understand it
I had to become horizon.
I mounted him
and he took me
where freedom
is not a mirage,
where dreams
don't hide,
because nobody
can ever get here
and if someone asks you
where freedom is
you may reply:
"There, where the horizon is
because no man can ever reach it."
