Right Here Poem by Chi Mary

Right Here

Rating: 5.0

My best sound is the whistling pine
The chirping sparrow on the bird bath
The pelting rain on the windowsill

My best picture is the rare eclipse
The twilight and vibrant dawn
The marching ants in perfect formation

My best lines are conceived in calm
On a lone drive by the countryside
On the patio with a glass of red

What we seek in the distance
May be right next door
Ideas borne in the recesses of our mind

The simple life and the quiet soul
Can awaken all our dreams and faculties
The best life is here and now
