The first time that I saw you
I knew you were a prize
I was captured by a feeling
When I looked into your eyes
Emotion stirred inside of me
Didn't quite know what to do
But I knew that if you needed me
I'd be right here for you

You swept into my soul
Like an angel in a song
You made me feel so wanted
Just what I wanted for so long
You gave me such a feeling
A joy I never knew
And I knew I could make you happy
And I'd be right here for you

Now we'll walk through life together
Down a highway all our own
We leave behind the memories
Of roads we walked alone
And no matter where life takes us
Or whatever else I do
I'm always going to love you
And I'll be right here for you
