Right Through Me Poem by Jennifer Rychter

Right Through Me

You walk by,
Right through me,
With not even a glance at me,
Like I'm not there,
Like I don't exist,
You run to Her...
Always near Her,
By Her side,
Like you promised to me when you claimed to have loved me,
But you were never there...
Yet you don't care,
And you know it hurts me to see you with Her...
You know I still love you,
Yet you ignore everything for Her...
You said you once loved me but I realize your better off with Her...
She puts a smile on your face,
Like I could not...
I know that I will never belong,
There is no place for me,
There is nobody for me,
There is nothing to fill the hole in my heart,
For I know you could never love me like you love Her
