Rings Poem by Tears In Rain

Rings

Stone on the water
Star in the sands
May these waters carry me
Safely to land

Two to one would marry
Should I find the way
Like some kind of sunshine
She defines the day

Will not it be darkened
Will she be fair
What will be the color
Of highlights in her hair

Will she make it later
Will she show soon
Come morning, please, by midnight
Shine in time, for the moon

Will that she share with me
Will that she sings
Will we dawn, adorn again
Our lesser luster rings

Stone on the water
Sinking and so small
Tell me if she’ll come for me
Or come not at all
