An apparent promise of nurturing powers
Another offering of healing showers
Silently we shared these gifts of ours
Like flowers
...
it seems that I hardly know you
but where you are I want to go too
how can I just let you disappear
to not have you near in future years
...
you whispered the words
as you lay by me
as you said that you would
so you stayed by me
...
I’m thought verily sought after
By some of us that are but
Slightly insane

Elfe was the grandest of all of my cats
She dined on Reece's Pieces preferably flat
As a mother she bore babies one Bump and one Bent
...
I chose the day
when she was to die
with spunk still in her
I entered the small room
...
She dare not breath
And she dare not speak
Lest she awaken inside
The very love she seeks
...
Alone
Why does she feel alone
With brightness all around
Born down on hallowed ground
...
Little diamond in the rough
borne of joy and other stuff
Sleep, sleep, sleep
...
Even you might now have guessed
I really haven't got a door
There's just a bloody mess
Scattered all about my floor
...
Crazy dreams of a crystal bottle
Sitting there upon my shelf
Inside-Out that crystal bottle
I remember nothing else…

More of a musician and songwriter than a poet. Where words fail me usually music and images fill in. So here you have only part of the picture, but maybe something will get across nonetheless. It would be like sharing tears in rain.)
Touching Petals
An apparent promise of nurturing powers
Another offering of healing showers
Silently we shared these gifts of ours
Like flowers
Flowers touching petals
One soul discovers selflessness
Another beauty unabashed
They caress but briefly nonetheless
Like flowers
Flowers touching petals
Almost opening to the reborn light
Poetry in motion, rekindled delight
Unlikely lovers lost in the night
Like flowers
Flowers touching petals
But human hearts they hesitate
They hope, they dream and they complicate
They fear the flood, the tears, they’re delicate
Like flowers
Flowers touching petals
