Does fruits ripen
to be sweet
or arrogant treat
do they own
their juices
to be their own
their lovely taste
to be their wealth
poor fruits
they seldom knew
that men on earth
when ripened old
are under mould
Do springs of water
neat and healthy
flowing gently
quenching thirst
claim their liquid
their own treasure
and deny the world
the solace of life
yet, men of matter
aged and wasted
claim their knowledge
with heads acknowledged.
