Rise Poem by Kayla Elizabeth

Rise

Come to be again
Rise from your hiding place
show all your sides
Stand up
Don't fear the later fall
Your rest has made you weak
But strength can come and go
Throughout the many changes you are needed now
A head shall be hung low for the day you don't return
But that day has not yet come
We ask of you to come and share with us your knowledge
So that we too can learn
To rise, to fall, to keep standing
