Rise Poem by Nizi khan

Rise

You can hurl hurricanes in my path,
Unleash all suffering and wrath,
Aim every rock that your arms hold,
Cocoon me in all that's cold,
Smash every wave against my back,
Torture me till I'm less than slack,
Blow all the fire that you can,
Choke me with all the soil of this land,
Bring down hell and make me dwell,
I'll still rise, beyond and wise,
To see you crumble less than a grain,
You're life's work hardly a stain,
You forever miserable in failure's pain,
You'll be bought, played and slain,
Till until none of your strength remain,
For you never realized, I'm fear in ordained.
