Rising Dilemma Poem by Satish Verma

Rising Dilemma

Lakeviewing was a
silent affair between two.
One of us will drown.

*

How will you care for
me, if you were allowed―
to die in rapture?

*

The boatman failed
to sight the land. A fireball
descends to knife sea.
