River 12 Poem by shuvo chakraborty

River 12

Little river, weak river shall ever be graced
To ear the profound roaring of wide sea?
A linear expanse timeless moving like a snake
Having careless nurturing by the water of the country field
Hardly giving the impulses for travelling to the sea.
Adept silence save the murmuring of slim leaves
And the chirping of birds village tiny in dense noon
Weaving the tilling yearning to cultivate the sighs further
Of lost lessons sprouting around the grooves rain drenched
Giving the soften edge to mingle with cool afternoon.
