Rivers Of Tears Poem by Julia Ann Holliday

Rivers Of Tears

Rating: 4.2

My dream of tomorrow,
Shall be to protect,
When all of the people
have love and respect.
Where all under heaven
have fine tasty meals
and doors are left open
because nobody steals.
When weapons of war
are a ghost of the past
The birds trees and flowers
shall have peace at last
When the cries of the children
are no longer heard
for their tears have all dried
and their memories blurred.
Where dark cruel prisons
are things of the past
and the men who were chained
there, have freedom at last.
My dream for tomorrow
lies here in this song
This is my hope for every one.
