Road Rage Poem by Jon M. Nelson

Road Rage

I'm tired of having to slam on the brakes,
Because of other drivers' mistakes.
And a turn signal? Don't even ask.
For them, that's too much of a task.

Last time I checked, green light meant go,
That must be something that they don't know.
I always wondered where they learned to drive,
And I'm amazed that they're still alive.

With all the accidents, I'm sure they're the cause,
Because they don't understand the traffic laws.
They don't follow speed or look at the gauge,
Some of the reasons they give me road rage.
