Robert Bruce Poem by Trailakya Roy

Robert Bruce

Long long ago there was a king,
Greatest of the Scotts- all they sing.
Became a king killing John,
But failed twice against Briton.
He was hunted by two race,
Hid in a cave to save his face.
Saw a spider trying to fix
Its net but failed times six.
But it succeeded it time seven,
Bruce took this to be an omen.
Resolved to struggle for his kingdom,
Bravely he fought and won the freedom.
