Robert Redux Poem by John W. McEwers

Robert Redux

I remember the smell of an empty casket
Where your body should've been
should have looked like a sullen angel
with its wings sadly pinned

You were only 32
I thought our lives were just a blast
Until you crashed and burned
and now I burn too.
