Rogue Poem by Oluwatobi Olaide

Rogue

Rating: 5.0

A wait not worth its weight

An expedition from dusk to dawn

A search full of void

A quest for light out of the dark

A touch from behind brought fright

Neither did I know we were partners on same plight

Fighting same battle, same physical might.

Same Night,

we run

Though we don't know what it's from
Same night,

We slow down and felt close to it.

Oh well, whenever it comes we will be here for it.

So I thought, "we still got time"

When fear becomes inevitable I will be holding you in time.

A Sight of sunrise

Fears arise

On the run

We've showed too much confidence, we couldn't abandon.

Let's wait till its dusk again so we both have something to hold on.

Lovers waiting for the morning to come... When it came the stayed in fear of being far from each other as everyone goes apart... Well they couldn't help it but only wish and hope to be together again at nightfall.
