Rohan & His Teacher Ms. Kapoor Poem by Sumita Jetley

Rohan & His Teacher Ms. Kapoor

In a school where light and learning flow,
Rohan's dreams began to grow,
But with too much to do, his mind did race,
He lost his calm, he lost his pace.

Ms. Kapoor, with wisdom so deep,
Saw his struggle, saw him lose sleep,
She spoke of a Sufi, serene and wise,
Who found peace in each breath's rise.

'Focus on one, let go of the rest,
Give it your heart, give it your best, '
She said with a smile, calm and clear,
And Rohan's worries began to disappear.

He learned to breathe, one task at a time,
Found his rhythm, his own rhyme,
In the present moment, he found his way,
And with each step, he seized the day.

For life is like the Sufi's breath,
Focused, calm, a dance with death,
In each moment lies your peace,
And in that focus, all worries cease.
