Roles Poem by Rishik DuttaGupta

Roles

Let men sit, on the Pyre,
And Sati begins.
Let a woman say, Talaq Talaq Talaq
And a man protests
Let a man give birth to a boy child
And a woman rejects.
Let tradition be celebrated, as it is,
Only the roles reversed.
Then let us complain against the Faminazis.
